This is the boot that introduced me to Gokey. I love this boot. It took one return to get it right: my usual size 11 reduced to a 10.5, and the darker, richer, chocolate brown. They are snug. Borderline C/D width, but the supple leather stretches with time and molds to the foot. Like a combination of a boot and track shoe. I’ve since gotten camp mocs and the High Prairie. That’s another review. Brenda has been a gem. Stacy too. Would not have worked without them.

I purchased the Gokey work boot a few days ago. I like them very much they are what a boot should be, comfortable to wear all day and they are. I have other similar boots in the same price range, I like them too, but the Gokey is the most comfortable. I ordered my actual size and they fit a tad loose but with winter socks they are prefect. You need to pay close attention to size, but remember one foot is larger and that is another variable in the choosing of you boot size. In summary one foot can be perfect and the other a little off and these boots do stretch some and that is good for comfort adjustment. If all fails you can get a replacement boot. It is worth the effort to get the right foot wear and you will have healthy feet in your old age.

I had to return my first pair 12 1/2 EE as they were too big. So you should go 1/2 size down. These Gokey boots are among the best boots I have ever owned. They are comfortable and will probably last many years.

Mixed – GREAT service – nice people, FAST fulfillment and delivery attractive and well made shoe! But sizing? I wear 10 E in Barrie last. Ordered 10EE. Oxford shoe is tight and short. they say wear to break in. not used to this. shoe is loosening up but not a lot. too snug to wear with anything but thin dress sock. hope it keeps stretching, This work boot is not so tight – inconsistent sizing??? this boot does not have much ankle support – not good but like its appearance and easier fit

Boots are actually well made of high quality leather. My only negative comment is that these boots run small to size. I usually order 10D and this gives me plenty of room in a boot. However in these the 10D was extremely snug. Had I known I would have ordered 10E or 10 1/2 E. They are narrow as well as short. As the leather is soft and conforms well to the foot, I can wear them with a light sock or no sock. So if you order, order a larger size than you normally do.
